Best clippers for tails / feathers etc

Hi

I was thinking of asking for some clippers for christmas, but my new horse just hasnt grown any winter fluff, so I dont need to clip him!!!

So I was wondering if there are any that are designed for trimming feathers, clipping tails, etc? So a bit smaller (and cheaper!) than standard clippers, but can still cope with coarse hair?

Agggghhhhh don't put clippers anywhere near the tail!!!

I only do down the sides!

It looks like he has sat on a hedgehog otherwise!!! (I think it was solo-combed before I got him.... and I dont have the patience to let it grow out!!!)

Whal Pro Cordless!! They are good, in fact they even managed to CLIP mymates pony - so good for legs, and for the tail - just buy a rake - u can get Rough/Medium/Fine.

And I dont clip it right down down short - I use the attachment thingy so the hair is left half an inch or so long!

Would a rake work when the hair is short already?

I have lister clippers, both the large and the small ones with the attachment thingies....

I do the sides of my tail with the large clippers and the feathers with the small ones, they're nice clippers. If I was to pull his tail, I'd get a face full of hoof, blend it in and never clip it before a show, leave it to settle for a few weeks before a big one

ahh dont clip the tail!! it looks terrible.

the tail rakes are great derby house have them from £10 ! well worth the money. and easy to use
