Best Clippers! One or two horses - YAKS!

Righto. Getting rather tired ploughing along with the old battery fed Wahl Avalon. Any recommendations for something that will last a decade and cut like butter. Just a couple of horses, but I'm not a big tough woman anymore. Open to mains or battery and don't want to spend a fortune. Well I do, but I cannot.

Another vote for Masterclip HD roamers - coblet with hyperkeretosis needs clipping every 6 weeks all year round (think Forth Bridge) and these have been seriously brilliant.

I have Heiniger for my Shetlands. Ive never owned another make so no idea if others would be better, but they do the job well.

Another vote for heiniger. I had the 'progress' (still going strong after 16yrs, but sold them as needed to switch to cordless) and now have the 'opals'

Me too, I bought mine second hand and they slide through my cob's ridiculously dense coat so easily. I'd never clipped before and found them very easy to learn with.
