After paying someone to give my TB a full clip (legs on/face off) today, I've decided I could've done a much better job myself and so will bite the bullet and get shopping!

What would people recommend as best clippers and trimmers on the market at the moment?

Thanks all :)

I have Lister Laser's which are great, heavy duty, run all day without getting too hot.

I use them for everything as I have yet to find trimmers that do as good a job :)

Are they heavy/noisy LJR?

My lad needs twitching to be done, but hoping if I do him myself every 3 weeks or so he will improve! But obviously the quieter the better ideally :)

Lister Lasers are great but very heavy duty and so are quite loud.
Lister liberty's are a good option if you want portability as they run off a battery that you attach to your belt. A certain clipper stockist has them on special offer at the moment for £318.00 including the libretto max trimmer (also can be used as a full body clipper if needed on very fine coats), a wide blade for the libretto, a pico trimmer and a free service in the first year. All this separately would be over £400 so a very good deal. They can also be run off a vehicle battery or by mains if you buy the right adaptor.
I have also used Liveryman Harmony Plus' which are the quietest clipper I have ever come across. BUT they are classed as a light weight clipper and although they managed to clip my cob x mare once, I'm not sure they would stand up to it regularly.

Thankyou Llee94 :)

I am glad you mentioned the harmony plus as that's another I have looked at but did wonder about their durability given they are classed as l/W
