The ariat endurance ones (terrain I think?) look comfy. Are they?

Or other suggestions? Can be pretty cas, I have long boots for competing :)

My every day chaps are the Toggi Wisconsin chaps, I've schooled, hacked, jumped and done 40k endurance rides in them, love them!!

Or I always used to have tredstep suede half chaps, they really mould to the shape of your legs!

Try a company called Just Chaps. So comfy they are even official suppliers to UK endurance team;)

I always had dublin chaps and loved them but think they changed them a few yrs back so im on to some cheapie £20 ones but they are just as comfy, think i got them on ebay :s

What are neoprene ones like? Are they horrible in real life. I quite like the idea of indestructible washable ones but not if they're awful

Depends what you class as comfy, as in, what feel do you like when on the horse? I like very close contact, little bulk and am a bit of a snob, too ;) My everyday chaps are Ariat Concord.

I buy the Loveson ones from Countrywide: about 20 quid or so, last me a couple of years, very comfy, stretchy and can be machine washed...

I like the suede Jeffries half chaps, they're super comfy and seem to last... Oh, and they're elasticated so fit over my jeans when I'm feeling too lazy/ prudish to change in the stable :P

Neoprene ones feel horrible when you take them off - I had some just chaps ones and they make my legs feel really sweaty...nice! Dublin do some mesh copies of the ariat T terrain ones. I'm usually really particular about buying cheap copies of the brand I really want, but I can't find any reason to buy the Terrain chaps now, the Dublin mesh ones fit the bill perfectly. I wear them with Ariat Tellurides.
