Best company for horsebox insurance?

I cant find the previous post on who you all use for horsebox insurance. Could you give me some ideas please? NFU seem to be expensive.

I've just insured through Anthoney Evans who quoted nearly half the price of NFU/KBIS/SEIB

I've just insured my 3.5 ton with NFU for £363 including rescue and recovery.
I thought that was cheap? I did an online quote with SEIB and that was more.

I use Shearwater £200 fully comp any driver over £25

You will need to shop round KBIS was the cheapest for us. we had been with Anthony Evans for years and still do my breakdown with him but he was more expensive when we put my daughter on the policy as she was under 25 and on a prov. licence

TRy the ones in the back of H&H, we ot our old lorry insured with Just Equine I think it was called, it was about £180 per year.

I'm with anthony evans, much the cheapest for me as an under-25 on an ancient bedford!!

Just had a quote from anthony evans and it was £150 cheaper than NFU so will prob go with them.

i am with anthony evans. when we had to claim last year they were brilliant. have used the horsebox rescue twice and that is really good.

South Essex are fab. Yesterday morning our lorry (7.5t) had a completely flat tyre, it was on the ground. we borrowed a friends lorry as was 7am but they came within a few hours and put a brand new tyre on it! But wait.... it was FREEEEEE absolutely freeeee. theyve done thta for my friend and her lorry too. i think theyre great!

I ahev just insured my new lorry with Shearwater - £195, any driver over 25, fully comp for £15k 7.5t lorry. I got a few quotes first & then rang Shearwater - their initial quote was £290 but 'magically' came down when I told them Anthony Evans' quote was £230....so it pays to shop around & play them off against each other.
