Best completely non-horsey products that you use on your horse?

My friend uses it on her horses sore patches caused by sarcoids, also where his lip splits sometimes.

I use it for minor cuts and grazes too as it gives a decent coverage that protects from flies and stuff getting into it.

Most of mine have already been mentioned apart from egg white as a natural hair gel.

Hemaroid cream on cuts on the corners of mouths.
Furniture polish for manes and tails
Sudocrem for EVERYTHING
Boot polish to black coloured's wibbly white line on his near hind.
Tresemme conditioner on everything.
Cow electrolytes for afer hunting (because they are exactly the same ingredient for ingredient, but they add a 0 on when it's horsey )
Duvets for winter (go figure, a think duvet costs about £15-20, a duvet rug of the same thickness costs twice that...)
A set of hair extensions from claires' accessories last season when mare chewed coloured's tail...
Tights to keep plaits in
Hairspray

Disposable nappies and sanitary towels/panty liners as dressings (nappies are great for hocks and knees)

Bath sponges (with scourer on one side) for tack cleaning, great for getting grease off bridles

Gillette disposable bikini trimmer for doing whiskers

Sheep white face powder for socks. It's zinc oxide so actually dyes the socks white! (they use it in mayo to make it white instead of yellow...)

And will now be using boot polish on hooves for the shows, thanks for the tip guys!!

Hair mousse to keep those annoying stray hairs in when plaiting.
But I think maybe the oddest thing was mustard powder and chilli sauce. One of the other horses was cribbing....on Bensons tail!!
So, smothered it with this disgusting mixture of all the strongest flavours you can think of! Soon stopped the cribbing!

Costs about £1 from Asda and it's the bits at lifting scurf and dust from coats. Leaves my boy shiny too!
