My mare is the type to get very hot and worked up doing the most straightforward of rides, so I'm after a really effective cooler as I'm aware winter is well & truly here (unfortunately) and although I cool her off as well as I can after rides I do worry about her getting a chill in the colder weather - I've never had one that gets quite this hot before!
She has just had a hunter clip which will help a lot but I was hoping someone could recommend a cooler which will wick the majority of the sweat off quickly? She currently has a weatherbeeta waffle weave but she does seem to remain hot & sticky in it for a long time after her workout.

And while i'm here...! Stressymare could also do with a lightweight exercise sheet for those miserable rainy mornings - without the fleecy linings they all seem to have! Wouldn't need to be hi-viz as it would just be for use at home.
V grateful for any suggestions (got cadburys on offer) x

Thermatex all the way but puzzled why you need an exercise sheet at home as horse shouldn't be standing about in the cold to need one at all as her muscles should be warm enough coming from the stable and if she gets hot at a stroke as you say, the least on her the better I would have thought as she'll only sweat more under one. However, both Thermatex and Thermalux do exercise sheets and they work well at wicking moisture away.

Weatherbeeta polar fleece cooler combo. I always order a size smaller so it's nice and snugg. Works perfect on both mine as they are unclipped and sweat up, but they need to cool down well at night as they are out at night!
