Best cooler rug?

Can anyone recommend a nice cooler/travel/show rug please? Not bothered on colours etc, but do want a good wicking one (not fleece). Cant afford Thermatex though and feel theyre a little warm for summer days I was thinking Mark Todd Coolex or the Le Mieux Carbon?

Other threads on here reccommended the weatherbeeta thermic as the best substitute for a thermatex - I bought one and am really impressed with it. I have a mark tood as well but the weetherbeeta is miles better.

What's the fit like on it? I had a Weatherbeeta fleece that I gave away because I couldn't fasten it over Blue's shoulders, despite going up a size.

Thermatex do different weights of cooler and the thinner ones are quite a bit cheaper.

I have the mark todd coolex its great but very thick. I have a lovely thinner waffle type one from Premier equine as well

Thanks guys, I'll go look at the Thermic and the others mentioned. Thats good to know Michen as I want one which I can use in the summer too so dont want very thick.

We use the Shires Half Fleece/Mesh cooler, and it has been fab. Not too warm but enoguh of the back covered to not get cold.

Smart enough for a travel rug and quite reasonable priced.

I bought a couple of the lightweight Thermatex rugs which are really good, and also a couple of Amigo fleeces.
