Best cordless clippers?

Definitely Heiniger Xplorer.. Love mine! You get 2 batteries, but I've never had to go on to the second one if the first is fully charged. The blades last several clips too.

Just re-read your post. If you are going to do it as a business I'd also get some trimmers. The Heinigers have a very long handle which can make them awkward to get into some places. It's the only thing that's less than ideal about them.

Clipperman dragon. Even my terrified of clippers pony will let me do him with them. They’re also light so even doing a full clip on the hunters I don’t get arm ache.

Heiniger Xplorers with a second battery as back up plus Liveryman Harmonies with the optional battery pack would cover all eventualities for professional clipping.

I have both though I’m not a pro as I have a knackered back and need clipping to be as easy as possible.

Masterclip everytime! They are half the price of the big brands, incredibly tough, not heavy or awkward to use and the customer service is second to none.

Love my liveryman harmonies, they are quiet and don't leave me with a vibrating hand! although I only do partial clips on a very hairy pony and tb type coat. I think a full clip of the pony would be too much they tend to get clogged with hair and then heat up quickly. I periodically unscrew them and clean them out then they run perfect again, can use for ages without getting hot.

Heiniger Xplorer! I just sold mine and bought some corded Hauptners, but not because i didn't love them. They're perfect for someone who doesn't need to clip multiple horses -powerful, quiet, and well engineered.

Another vote for Lister Liberty, i have had mine for over 10 years. Only problem is that I think I will soon need to replace the battery as I can barely get a clip done before they run out of charge. They have however had a lot of use over the years so I think that is fair play!

Lister Liberty - I just upgraded to the new Lister Liberty Lithium & battery life is awesome at 4 hours plus. And, charging takes just an hour or two compared to the old ones 16 hour charge period!

I had Xplorers as well. They were fantastic, managed to clip my boy incrementally that previously needed sedation.

Heiniger Xplorer as clippers, together with Masterclip MD Roamers for fine coats or trimming. I'd invest in a grooming set, too (scissors, thinning scissors and comb). I got a set from Amazon and I use that more than the clippers!
