best 'country boots'?

Dubarry are best but for around half the price Toggi Hamilton boots tough hard wearing and WATERPROOF. And for looking after them Nik wax liquid and wax.

DONT WASTE your money on Rydale Malham Boots or even worse Dublin River Boots which are leakier than a Government department.

Just for the pure winter mud and wet wear I'd go for some just togs mudrucker neoprene ones. I've had mine through three winters now and not a problem with anything, they are great for warmth and easy to clean and pretty indestructible for the price of a pair of hunter wellies. I also have a pair of country boots - Harry Halls ones, but the two tone leather not nubuck- again cheap at less than £80, but warm, easy to maintain and no leaks, rubs or cold feet and this is the 2nd winter they have gone through without worry.
