Best day for Demo Evenings?

Hello everybody!

I am thinking about organizing a Demo Evening with some amazing horsepeople that are flying in from Australia in August and can't make up my mind what evening in the week is best: Friday? Saturday? Sunday? and what time? 6:30pm? 7:30pm?

And while I am asking questions - can anyone suggest an indoor school to hire Guildford area, please?

Personally I prefer mid-week demos, as usually out competing at weekends. Most round here seem to be Weds or Thurs evenings from around 19:30, works well & usually a good turnout.

Can't help on indoor schools though, sorry!

We speak at quite a few evening meetings (about using worm counts in worming programmes) and the most popular days are Tuesday or Thursday, certainly a weekday.

Most demos round here are normally on weekday evenings (not sure why, the thought of going out until late on a weeknight doesn't appeal to me as a horse owner who will have to be up at 6am the next day! I would think friday or saturday would be best out of the options you've put, definately not sunday!

I'm near Guildford, Merrist wood seems the most obvious choice for indoor school with lots of seating? Also there is Parwood in Brookwood, (never been but I hear they have seating etc).
