I love, and have used for years, Pear Tannery. Here: https://www.peartannery.com/ I've just bought a new dog lead from them - lovely to deal with and fantastic quality. If you fancy lots of variety and possibly less traditional try here: https://doggyboho.co.uk/ Really fun designs and again good quality. I have and love various velvet collars...but not ideal for farm dogs! 😏😆
D has a pear tannery with hearts on since she came out of a puppy collar in early May, v robust and colour still good after a summer of rumbustious charging around and going through wet grass (she is small!). V v happy to recco.

Yes, my terrierist's collar has had an absolute beating over the last 4 years but is still in amazing smart condition. He has this one: 1728838626221.jpeg

I think I’m going either green with hearts, or brown leather with stars, I’d love green stars but they don’t have the dark green.
Good to hear they last so well!
@Laureltree, what do you think? What colour is your pug?

Out of interest did anyone actually buy a pear tannery collar?
My daughter ordered me one ages ago. It’s not arrived and she has been unable to contact anyone. No emails are being replied to and she can’t phone.
I feel really bad as she has lost her money.

Probably. She paid via Monzo and has started a dispute but I don’t know how that works really.
Just an annoying hassle and I really liked them!
That is really odd, and frustrating. I've recently bought a new dog lead from PT with no trouble. I think they reply to Facebook messages quite quickly. Who needs the hassle though?!

Just recently?
So strange, she only told me as she said she had bought it for my birthday coming up but had given up on getting it and had read (and screen shotted and sent me) bad reviews from people saying the same!
Even stranger she got her money refunded directly as i posted here this morning.

What a shame as they are so lovely.

If you buy rolled and you really want real rolled, remember you shouldn't be able to see any stitches along the length with traditional rolled work. There's also fakes out there using rounded leather belting and passing it off as rolled. I have an article on rolled work if anyone wants to read it.
