They have paid out without any questions,some big bills for my rottie over the last couple of years.

Ive looked into mark and spencers and it coming out at £9.56 for platinum and thats life anyone use them? pet plan is £26 89 a month, Argos is £15.89 for life too.

I use Argos. Mine is only £11 for Life Cover. It's worth ringing them up as they reduced the price of mine when we spoke to them, without us asking. So far I cannot fault them, they have been brill!

I'm with sainsbury's and I've got a big claim going through at the moment, not sure if I'd recommend or not, we'll see if they pay! One thing I would say is check if the insurer will pre authorise any treatment if you need to claim, if sainbury's did it would of saved me alot of stress!

Chlo swallowed a chew toy, had stomach surgery to the tune of £3000. NFU sent me a claim form, I filled it in, gave to vets, never heard from them again. Paid up in full, no problems.

NFU all the way! They've been great with our horses too

All our animal are with PetPlan and they have been excellent covering all of Nellies claims but Im wondering if it would be better to start Rubys insurance with The Kennel Club - we have complimentary cover with them at the moment but it runs out soon.

Any experiences?

I too have Argos' top level of cover, £12 p/m. Avoid E&L, I had all sorts of problems with them...

We use M&S and they have been excellent. We claimed for a broken leg with no problems and they paid out each bill as it came in. Their helpline was also very useful when one dog got hold of a pot of painkillers!!
