I have recently bought my horse a very nice frank baines girth but it was too big around his elbows and pinched him. He reacted quite extremely to it! Wondered if anyone has any recommendations for a very soft girth which is not too wide at the ends. Also need elastic at both ends/middle or none at all. Budget of up to £100. Thanks in advance!

I've always loved the Wintec, shaped elasticated girth better than all your expensive wonder girths. Never rubs, easy to clean, doesn't get damaged by flying surfaces and who can see them anyway? Not that I'd be bothered anyway, why spend a fortune on something which doesn't do the job as well as this?

Wintecs rubbed the devil out of mine. I use a neoprene Kieffer one at the moment - cheapo - but I did like my nice Albion leather one which was smart and comfortable.

Thanks all! I decided to go for an idea infinity after recommendation from saddle fitters. Not tried it yet but extremely soft and straight at the elbow so fingers crossed! 😃
