Horse on shavings at the moment.Still coughing. Vet coming AGAIN tomorrow.First wheeze heard today.Not in stable when shavings put down and on haylage.Any better bedding?

My horse was on straw and I had to change her as she started coughing. I now steam her hay and use paper and the cough has gone.
She makes a total mess of shavings and hemp type beddings, hence on paper. There has been no more coughing at all.
Regarding costs she is in a 15 x 15 stable, 3/4 bedded down with huge banks. I put down two bales a week at a cost of £ 11.00.

bedmax shavings, large clean flakes, guaranteed no dust, easy to muck out. treated with eucalyptus oil which is excellent for for dust allergies.
