Anyone got recommendations for solar lights. Motion sensor would be good. To be attached to wooden fence to light up a wide drive way. Thanks.

Yes. Don't buy any that I buy. Because they either work really well for 2 minutes off a day's charge, don't charge, come on so faintly that you have to squint to see if it's working, or only sense motion when you're so close you can practically lick it.

(sorry, I have an obsession with lights for outside my stables, as I have yet to find something I'm happy with!!! 😂)

(Caveat - my stables are in a little wooded area, and to light the area around my stables/shed the lights have to be situated in mostly shade. Hence I try to get lights that have a separate solar panel so I can have that in a more open area. I've resorted to USB charged lights a lot of the time, but that often breaks from being exposed to the elements, or I forget to charge. Usually the latter. See signature below...🙄)

I bought these last week to go attach to fenceposts along the track to my stables. They are fine for the price, but only really come on when you're right next to them.

I bought this at the same time but haven't tried it yet

These are solar and USB rechargeable. I do really like these but have had a few where the charging point has either come loose or just not worked anymore. Apparently I've bought 5 in the past. I currently have 1  . I mostly use USB to charge them though as I have limited sun where I have the light situated. They may well be perfect if you weren't regularly accessing the USB port.

These were really quite good, until they weren't. I bought them 3 years ago, don't think I've had any around for a year or so, so maybe 2 years of use?

No problem, we have only been using them a few weeks but they seem pretty good, saves me falling when attempting to get to the muck heap and other half can see his workshop door to open it now!
