Would you choose, Sumo powder or just stick to micronised linseed?

Have used the Sumo with good results previously, but wondering if just solely linseed would do just as good for weight promotion?

Don't know about either of those but if you want to put weight on then the Ready Mash Extra from the Soft n Soak range works really well.

That's what I feed him already :) Used to have him on that and the Sumo, but just been on Readymash Extra...but he was ill over xmas so just want something extra to put him on for 6 weeks or so.

I've never personally used linseed on him, only the Sumo before...so just wondered if anyone thought linseed has the same weight gain as obviously half the price :) If not, I'll get the sumo anyway...but just thought if the linseed did work just as good, then obviously I'd get that.

Thanks!

Anything I feed him, has to be of mash consistency. Not sure how well they'd mash down or if would alter at all if soaked? Open to any suggestions...but he's just a bit of a tricky one feedwise! :)

I can see the weight going on Amber with the micronised linseed, weigh day tomorrow. She had put on 10kgs the last time which made me doubt the last measurement. So I was extra careful last time. I am pathetically excited about tomorrow's one :o

I fed sumo but weight gain was at same level as when I was supplementing with full fat soya, so after forking out for 2 bags I decided it was not worth it if he is gaining anyway, it is so expensive. I was also feeding alongside ready mash extra. Think I will try copra when the soya runs out as have heard great reviews and it's not as expensive.
