best feed for babies :)

Have heard alot of good things about winergy growth but imo unless they're under weight acess to good quality grass and a balancer aimed specially at youngstock (such as bailye's stud balancer) should be all they need.

I would never chose a mix as cereals and starch based feeds can cause growth spurts.

If it's a good doer I'd go for a low calorie stud balancer (i.e. baileys, buckeye etc) if its a type that requires more claories I'd go for winergy equilibrium growth every time

I would recommend the baileys stud balancer, Rio is two now and he has been on it since 3 months before he was born, with fantastic results.

well i am unable to put him out 24/7 for a few more weeks.
hes goes out about 7 hours a day atm (hes just been gelded)
hes not allowed out with mares till next week, then he'll be going out from 5 at night till the next morning, and after hes settled, he can go out 24/7
but grass is still poor.
and i just wanted to give him something so he groes properly and doesnt lack, ie poor hooves later on.

looks like he's got poor feet already what did your farrier say? I'd probably put him on a hoof supplement not just youngstock mix until his hoof quality and shape improve. Better to get them sorted now while your not riding him than having to wait even longer to back him because he has bad feet.
