ok so H is so laid back he's almost horizontal, after my sj lesson i feel i need to find something to give him a boost, i've tried redcell and seemed to make little difference also the fast release mix which poss helped a bit but now he's been on mollichaff and pasture mix as doesn;t seem much diff to the energy mix, sooo any suggesitons to get him a bit more sparky?? thought perhaps tiger oats, any opinions?

I had the spillers instant energy, propell plus, and alfa. I fed the recommended levels of all (3x scoops a day) most of all I made sure the moose was fit!

LOL!!!!Must be in the shortening of the name!!

!I call mine h(short for hadley) and god is he laid back!!!I have tried evry feed poss to peck him up with no sucess, lmao, its just the way he is,he enjoys his jumping,if we try gallop on the stubble on our own it is hard work, but if we have a friend join us he thinks it is playtime!Unfortunately they are like people, you are either the laid back "i will get there when i do" or the "oh my god it has to be done now" type!!!!

Sooner have him chilled and sane though!!

H is quite fit although i know his canter work needs to go up a gear but as said before getting canter work when out on your own can be really hard work as H is just mr relaxed and can;t be bothered to whizz along, other prob is that he is rather a good doer so can;t have too many cals or balloons! so trying the oats now had a sample of tiger oats that hes had over 2 feeds and def came in quite sharpish tonight form the field so maybe thats going to be the one for him, anyway more suggestions welcome.
thankies.

We had a profound change in one horse after using saracen's prep 14 and equi jewel. He is more energetic without any naughtiness. isn't cheap at over £11 a bag however..the EQ lasts for ages and you don't need anything else with it, we add alfa beet to moisten it but if you want fizz without stupid try it.

Used Tiger oats on the hunters i used to look after, they go fab on them, and they are balanced because of the pellets in them.

well, have been giving H 1 big scoop crushed oats a day and so far he def seems more energetic, also making the effort to ride much more forward and really kicking on on hacks, no more bumbling along for him!!
thanks all for suggestions am going through one at a time to see which works best. may well get tiger oats next and see if they're better than crushed oats.
