as title says really - is quite poor with wormy belly - has been wormed now. he is living out - and a gelding....

Good grass but not too much of it, not to start with and keep an eye on him for adverse reactions to large numbers of worms being killed off. Maybe balance with a chop and time off the pasture if it's too rich and abundant? Include a vitamin supplement somewhere, too.
Don't forget Welshies are designed to live on nothing although if you stay true to their design, they can afford a the extra calories from the summer as long as intake is reduced drastically to bare maintenance levels in autumn and winter. This, is well nigh impossible to do correctly and humanely, unfortunately.
His teeth need looking at already, even if only to rule out any dental abnormalities and confirm he has the right equipment and in good order to be processing the grass!

Have to agree that esp at this time of year - grass. Obviously if it was midwinter you might not have that option but grass, slowly and surely, will work wonders.
