Looking for some lightweight flex stirrups for jumping, recommendations or ones to avoid
I like the look of the compositi ones but don't know if the swivel bit will feel weird, be v interested if anyone has tried these

(I'm not up for sprenger balance or free jumps, sprenger too heavy and freejump knowing my luck will get stuck on my boot lace or a bush! )

Do you mean the compositi ones with the big wide footbed? They are about £30, or a bit less, and have a sprung tread? If its them, then I highly recommend them. You won't notice the tread, really, as its very subtle but the big wide footbed is fantastic. I have knee and ankle issues in one leg and they have definitely made me more comfortable.

Thats the ones, I have wide endurance ones normally which I love but wanted ones a bit more subtle and that attach normally to the stirrup leathers for jumping. My knees dont like my normal metal ones anymore!
What make ones did you get out of interest? (there seems to be loads out there with different price tags that look the same)

Then yes, I'd definitely recommend them. I bought one set a few years ago and immediately bought a set for each of my saddles. I don't think I could ride in normal metal ones now and I don't like the weight of Sprenger etc.

I bought mine a few years ago when they were just branded as Compositi and sold through Ebay. The ones Shires sell are the exact same ones, I bought a set for a friend, and still under £30.
