Best FLY GEL - which works best?

As title really. Can anyone recommend on the of the fly repellent gels (not spray) - one that works well and for a reasonable length of time. Will be for use on ears and face, so must be gentle. Thanks!

I just brought the NAF OFF pink fly cream. It smells rank but so far the babies havent been eaten so badly by the midgey flies.
It really smells bad tho. Can still smell it on my hands now after putting it on at 7am and washing my hands!!

I like the Lincoln one, lovely yellow goo, smells gorgeous, really easy to put around eyes, ears, noses.

Another vote for the NAF one, If that doesn't keep the fly's away I am not sure what will!

Yep, the NAF one worked really well on my 2. I ve got heaps of horseflies in woods near me and the gel and garlic granules did a good job of keeping them at bay last year!

itch stop salve. expensive but you get a big pot and it WORKS!
its pink tho!

Well, I've opted for NAF Off Extra gel for her body area and Carr & Day & Martin Insect Repellent Gel for around her eye and muzzle areas (as recommended by the vet). I'll see how we get on with those
