Best fly rug for keeping horse cool

My horse is on a water meadow and the flies are becoming unbearable, have tried every single potion and lotion to put the flies off but nothing works. What is the best brand of fly rug to use?

Need something lightweight and airy for a hot/sweaty prone horse. He’s also very pink skinned so any UV protectant are a bonus!

I use the Kool Coat Airstream on mine who is also pink skinned and prone to burning. I trialled it this year when we had temperatures up to 30°C and was really surprised that she actually felt a normal temperature under it. It's pretty much the same material as the Aussie Allrounder just with more airflow.

Same here. Clip our Appy out so use this rug to keep flies off and prevent sunburn.

I use the Amigo Bug Buster vamoose on both of mine and rarely seen them sweat significantly in them. Not sure how good the UV protection is. I have an Aussie all rounder too for one of them but only use that in showery weather. It doesn’t have a belly flap.
