I have a horse who suffers from mild sweet itch, he is currently in his boett 24/7-out at night, in during the day. However, he is getting very hot when in his stable, I want to look at getting a fly sheet. It must have a belly and neck cover to protect him from the midges. Can anyone recommend me a good fly rug for this purpose? It will only be used in the stable, so theres no worry about other horses ripping it etc.

Of course the other option is to clip him, which I'm starting to wonder if that will be the best solution!

well out in the field i use mark todd as its shiny and reflects the sun.though it is quite heavy material so may still be hot....
try and look for a really light material one. my youngster gets hot really easily and sweats and he is fine in his amigofly rug, its lasted quite a while too..
