I've been wearing my Kerrits riding tights all summer and love them, but I seriously need to find something warmer now. I don't mind not having a pocket but they must be full seat, stretchy and WARM! Any recommendations?

I had a pair of Ariat thermal riding jods.

They had an artificial-suede seat on them, and were incredibly warm and cosy!

I lost quite a lot of weight, and was just slipping around in them, so put them on e-bay! They made a very good price!

I have another couple of pairs of Ariat thermal jods; have turned them out for the winter but am trying to resist slipping them on coz know that once they're on, they'll stay on till at least March of next year!!

But ohh boy, sooohhh tempted. Tis cold here, even though I'm in Devon down the "sharp end", tis a tad breezy round the vitals here this morning............

Have just ordered Dublin’s new thermal tights with gel seat. Have their cool it & warm it so hoping these are similar but toastier

Sound lovely.. You'll have to review them for us. I love my Dublin cool its.

Has anyone mentioned noble outfitters yet? I've got their knee patch winter breeches, so if they have a full seat version I'd definitely recommend...

Second a review I’ve got two pairs of the warm its which are lovely and comfy but something even warmer in really cold days would be great.

Will report back on Dublin thermal tights but just to say viovet has got them for very good price. I loved my Musto snugs but got to be silly money so hoping these are good!

Hmm so the Dublin tights have arrived. Seem similar to cool it tights but with vaguely fleecy inside. Long in the leg compared to other Dublin tights but am 5’2”. Not sure if will be that warm but they are very comfortable. Suffer a bit from vpl

I have the Kerrits sit tight windpro breeches.. which are super windproof and water repellent and ultra warm, a pair of their powerstretch pocket tights (handy thigh pocket for phone) which are really cosy and a pair of the bootcut sit tight windpros... think the Kerrits are technically made the best.. great for walking / hiking in too.. and the bootcuts are great for winter clinics etc. they are worth the cost imho as the material is proper technical outdoor gear polartec.

I ordered a pair of these yesterday - they don't sound good! Is the outer shiny like the Cool-It tights?

I had the Dublin Warm-It ones last years and they were thick and warm but not waterproof, I wore them so much I put holes in them! Really liked the fact they weren't shiny like the other ones....

Update, having worn the Dublin thermal tights in some pretty chilly evenings they actually keep you a pleasant temp. It’s a bit odd, they don’t feel warm particularly when you put them on in the house but don’t seem to be any colder when you are outside. Have worn down to 0 degrees & not felt cold. As they are stretchy they are very comfy & under coat don’t look unflattering

Completely agree! I thought they felt a bit thin when they arrived but as the temperature has dropped I cant say I have been cold. They are incredibly comfortable too. Quite pleased with them.... :)
