Best gloves for grip?

I had a jumping lesson a while ago and the rain came on quite heavily. I use rubber grip reins and had leather gloves on.......absolutely no grip at all!! I hate continental reins. So, what gloves do people rate for good grip?

Gosh, that was exactly what I would have replied. I have some Rodney Powell gloves (think they are the XC ones) and they are brilliant in the wet, besides being some of the best fitting gloves I've ever had.

I have Roeckl Chester gloves for 'nice' gloves. They are grippy with my rubber lined reins.

Am loving my Mac Wets I bought at Badminton.......they got absolutely soaked XC schooling and still had grip - amazing gloves.

3rd for Mac Wets. I wore mine autumn hunting on a strong horse in the pouring rain and I still had grip 3 hours later!
