Need to replace both my everyday and 'competition' gloves really, but as I go through gloves like they are going out of fashion I don't really want to spend more than say £25 a pair!
Any suggestions? Quite like reasonably thin material but good grip.

I love Macwets, but get through them in no time. I have a pair of Roekcl Chester gloves at the mo, and they're great and have lasted the longest of any gloves I have had, and are still going strong. I use them everyday and for competitions :D

Roeckl Chester's get my vote too - slim fit, awesome grip, last ages. probs about £26 pair. I wont ride in anything else!

Winter warmth - Mark Todd leather-ette gloves, probs £15 ish - bit thick for schooling in, but great for hacking and doing the yard, they are almost waterproof. They look nice too :)

What size are you E?
I've got a brand new pair of Mark Todds that are too small (size 6.5) - was flogged them cheaply as MacWets and they aren't! Just about to whack them on ebay but if they will fit you, you can have them free

Thanks N! I'm not sure actually - think maybe 7? Will measure later on thanks! Are they the sort of leather look ones?
I take it you are a fan of machetes then?

Roeckl for me too.

If they are for home and you aren't fussed about colour etc, Equestrian Clearance sometimes have them for as little as £9 a pair.

I kill gloves so rarely spend more than £20 on a pair. The Mark todd winter ones have helped me through the last 2 winters (new pair each time), I'm off tomorrow to buy my next pair :)

I have a pair of Woof ones for everyday (they're black so I don't compete in them) - they're the more neoprene-like-backed ones and I found them around four years ago, so god knows how old they actually are! They're still going strong though, and are warm but not 'winter glove' thick :)

Would love some roeckls though.

i love macwets for competition gloves....for everyday i just use those crappy magic gloves that are about £1.99 a pair- that way when i lose them (regularly) it doesn't matter! they are pretty warm too!
