Hi, I'm a Publishing student in South Essex College and am making a local based equine magazine for my final project. I want to find out peoples favourite places to hack/ bridle paths. Where is it? Why is it a good place to ride? Please describe as much as possible.
Thanks for anyones help in advance

Hatfield Forest is excellent, but you do need to buy a yearly pass. Wide plains for cantering, plus broad grassy rides, plus narrow paths through the woods (when the weather is dry). And a tea room :)

The Flitch Way is an excellent bridleway, with a good all-weather surface.

Epping Forest is another permit only area with good surfaced paths, but there are busy roads to cross.

The flitch way is awesome- 17miles of sand/surfaced riding with other bridleways connected into it- and it leads to Hatfield Forest too... loved it when I lived there!
