Help! I'm looking for some nice gloves as a present for my groom. She goes through her preferred Ariat ones (material) at quite a rate so thought I'd get her some new ones that might last a bit longer...but I do dressage and I don't think she'd appreciate some nice white ones :-)
Recommendations? And what colour do eventers like/need? Preferably something reinforced in the right bits so they last.

I bought a pair of Roekl ones about two weeks ago and they are coming apart already so probably avoid them!

I like SSG gloves but leather are the most hard wearing.

Not sure how "eventer-y" they are, but my sealskinz are by far the most hard wearing and comfortable gloves I own ! Warm in the winter and don't get too hot in the summer. SSG ones are very, very comfy but are looking tatty now. Just bought some RSL ones and they are gorgeous but haven't stood the test of time and use yet :D

Depends on budget. i-Quip are great and can match her XC colours but are around £50. I love my Roekls but only use for competitions as not terribly hard-wearing.

My SSG's looked good, felt good but looked tatty very quickly. So far my MacWets are much more hard wearing but just as comfortable and I prefer the longer cuff option

Mac Wet! Lasted nearly a year in use 5-6 times a week, outdoors in all weathers and competing.

I am so fed up with looking for gloves to fit my "paws" They are either too long or too tight . Maybe I should consider doing my next dressage test in welders gauntlets!

My mark Todd ones are brilliant I have two pairs the ones I use at home are only tatty because I left them in my pocket and they went through the washer and dryer which apparently is not good for leather
