Best hat for ventilation??

So had a lesson last night with my new boy (went very well :) ) and it turns out I'm more unfit than he is!! :p

Anywho I get hot when riding especially when its warm like last night, and according to my hairdresser I have a hot head anyway! :rolleyes:

So I need suggestions for a new hat that has ventilation holes in it and which one is the best and prices please :D Need to help with my horrendous hat hair and sweaty head..... :D what a lovely image! ha!

I'm not convinced hats make that much difference. I have a Champion Ventair and a Pikeur one which is like a bike helmet and my head gets equally sweaty in both when other people I do the same ride with don't have sweaty hair at all, so I think I'm just a hot person!

hummm think you might be right, I was hoping that with some air flow it might help :) its not an attractive look tbh!!
 
Have a baseball cap handy, pop that on as soon as you take your riding hat off so no one sees. I know it's not flattering to have hair looking like it's just been stuck in a chip pan LOL
 
I just got a harry hall ledgend one, still makes my head a bit sweaty but no where near as much as when I had a charles owen one!
 
Son has just got a Charles Owen 4 star and says it's much better than his other vented hats (previous CO skulls, GPA and Champion Ventair) although it isn't as lightweight as some it has the advantage of higher safety rating. Cost about £124.
 
I use a troxel, they are currently looking for a new distributor though, so are rather difficult to get hold of. So much better than my ventair! When I use the ventair at work, I use a bandana underneath, which helps with the hot head!
