Best haylage nets?

Need to buy some new ones, large capacity! The ones I have at the moment have very small holes which is fine but they have started to fray and come unravelled where the rope threads through the top (rings would be better IMO)

i have black and red ones that i brought at the local feed merchants they are small holes and have a chunky tie up rope but they are huge, pretty sure i could get in one!:-)
thats prob not that help but i dont know if they have a name brand as such
 
I think I have the same ones Georgieblue. If it is then I have to double up the string at the top through the net to tie it up or else it hangs too low. Good quality nets though. Have had to make repairs to mine but I have had them a couple of years and they have taken a good bashing from the big lad.
I also have a net which maybe that IV trawler net or very similar. It is green, small holed and very strong netting with a plastic ring at the bottom. Think I paid near enough a tenner for it second hand from ebay a couple of years ago. The cob has managed to make a hole in it though.
Shires also do some nice small holed large nets too. Although this one too is damaged now, it did take some hammering and for the cost about £3 was a very good buy at the time.

Prittstick I didn't know that as I got my second hand from ebay so had no idea who made them as I have never seen them in the shops, but then again I don't do tack shops much as mine are too far away and expensive compared to online shopping. But thanks for letting me know as I'm going to be needing some more haylage nets soon. I will reveal why in about a week's time

I have to put one haylage net inside another, just to stop my cob eating through them in five minutes!! I've found shires ones reasonably good....
 
Yep, a lot of horses here have the red and black Shires nets. They are HUGE and really good quality! I only have to fill mine up once every 48 hours for my horses and they're in 24/7 at the mo

Derby house also make their own, but I don't think they are as good as the Shires ones.

They are from Shires
 
I have the shires black& red ones - they are huge. Also have the black & blue small ones. I think they're brill.
 
I also have Shires, tough, good quality and small holes which makes them much safer (can't get feet in) and makes them eat slower...brill.
