Best headtorch?

I have a Lighthouse one, it's great, rechargeable ( I found it in a coat pocket when the clocks changed and it still had charge from last winter) I wouldn't say it'd light up 7 acres, but I reckon you could see over 5, at it's brightest setting. Was about £20 from our local Ironmongers.

I've been looking at Lumilight ones where you just wave your hand to light it and turn off. Gives really good coverage and also has a red option for low lighting.
Anyone got one?

Ive got 2 alpkit ones one rechargable and one with batteries that also has a red light on the back. Both are pretty bright and adjustable over hats etc.

The problem I found with the movement activated ones is they go on an off when you really don't want them too, it's amazing how often something brushes past your face, I just got too annoyed.

I don't rate mine & it's been relegated yo the feed shed!

I far prefer my Petzl.
Same here. The Lumilight is nowhere near good enough for any serious lighting. I'm having to use it to walk the dogs in the morning at the moment, and it barely lights where my feet need to go.
Petlz are definitely much better.
