I love sleeves on jackets, as someone mentioned above, the horses head can obscure tabards whereas sleeves will still be visible, also makes arm signals more visible. But what i hate seeing is single, narrow bands of hi viz, this just getaway 'lost' and offers so little visibility, for example a hat band ir a narrow necklace are virtually useless from any distance

How is the sizing on the mesh sheet? I'm leaning towards Cob but worried it might be too long. Pony is a tank of a Fell, 13.2, relatively short backed though so maybe Pony would be better?

I have just checked ours and it's a 'medium'. It's used on a 13.2 cob who takes 5.6 rugs.

I agree about the narrow breastplates. This is our usual breastplate, and it took a surprising amount of searching to find one that was properly wide and visible, and even then it was only available in yellow. (I find yellow can merge into hedges very easily around me.)

I wish her LED one was a bit wider. It works great in gloom, but not so well otherwise:

I do find it interesting that I've never had a particularly bad experience with a motorist, but people who go out with just a dingy hi-viz vest, flapping open, are full of complaints. (Obviously, there are always going to be knobs driving around, but I find that if you give them the chance to see you, most will respond appropriately.)
