Hi, one of our ponies had a mild touch of lami and has been on soaked hay plus top spec antilam. His hoofs are OK but i want to give his hoofs the best chance - anything better i could be feeding him? he also has a daily brushing with Kevin Baker dressing, thanks

Equilife formula4feet every time. It has done wonders for my TBs awful feet and I believe it was developed with the laminitic in mind. Would use cornucrescine as dressing tho, the Kevin Bacon one softened the horn too much according to my farrier.

before you shell out for Farriers F check out Dengie Healthy Hooves, I tried both and if anything the hooves are better on HH, about a tenth of the price too. But it is a complete feed not a supp.

how long have you been feeding the antilam? I've only heard good things about it... are you feeding it as instructed on the bag?

I'd second the Dengie Healthy hooves - it's chaff based and can be fed along side the antilam if you don't feed it at the recomended levels or on it's own if you feed it at the recomended levels...

you could also try adding seaweed to what you're currently feeding - it's cheap and I've heard of very good results after feeding this...
