Thoughts please on best hoof supplement - feet would be brittle & prone to cracking. Nothing horrendous & on biotin (a good horse vet of ours says that biotin alone is fine) but wanted to check whats on the market now that could be better & also open to herbal/ old fashioned remedies too as opposed to mass produced!

Not had the need to use any for some years so wondered wot was about as so many on the market these days
thanks

I like Pro Hoof. I find a lot of barefoot people like it too, and that is a good sign, as when barefoot horses are monitored more closely as a rule.

ATM though mine is on Formula 4 Feet, as it is a pelleted supplement, and Jay man is off games as he has an injury, so when on this one does not need a hard feed.

I use pro-hoof. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. They also do pro-balance, good but not specific for hooves.

I've had great success with Equimins Hoof Mender pellets. Despite what would be considered a good diet, there was previously v little growth. Now marked increase & horn quality is excellent. Farrier is impressed.
