Best horse toys ?

Any recommendations for toys that can be used in the field ? my mare has spent all morning 'playing' with some tarpauling, but don't want to leave this with them when they are on their own. Have thought for a while now that she is a bit bored with been roughed off over winter, will start working her again but if anyone has any ideas ?

a big round bale!
my mare loves having a munch and trying to push it round when it's small enough! also tries to climb over it.. there's not much more you can leave in a field and know it's gonna be safe with them playing with in low light

my boys have got space hoppers
cheeper than the horse balls

you could hang a tyre from a tree. Not to low though or they might get their leg stuck in it.
