Chassis weight wise.. MAN is lightest..then Daf..then Iveco..then Merc.. just depends what you'd like as a "container".... 7.5T tend to be a bit optimistic if advertised as 3 horse with full living..2 horse with full living is more realistic.. i'd personally have a MAN over any other for ease of maintenence and drive. the Daf would come a close second. oh, and get one with a tilt cab!!..your mechanic will be very pleased.

(or so im told ) we got a non-hgv 4 horse for 6k but it was highly grafieted with the old owners sponsers (everywhere!!) and had no living. second the idea with a tilt cab! much easier to work with
