Best Instant Calmer?

Does anyone have ay suggestions as to what is the best instant calmer to use that actually works? I need it for Hunting, XC etc as he gets very over excited but the rest of the time a child could ride him! So i only need it as a one off thats effective in an hour and lasts a few hours and not one that he needs to be given every all the time. Thanks :D:D
 
I got a free Feedmark calmer in a tube and used it for big XC event for my mad cob and I was extreamly impressed! Stopped the stupid bouncing and spinning but kept the jump and go that I love in him!! I've stocked up for hunting season cos I know I'll need it!!! Lol!!
 
I've just started to try on ted, the 5star magic calmer, it does come in a syringe like a wormer for the more instant.
But I've been using the powder in his feed, this morning it was like he was doped on a hack with someone else, normal he's horrid and try's to bomb off and buck me off.
I'm going to cut it to half scoop in feed at home, on Sunday I'm going to a show, so will give a scoop and see what it's like.
 
I use the Nupafeed calmer. I've put a link to a website here because this is where I get mine from. You can either use a daily dose or they can supple a syringe for a 'one off' which is what I use on my sillly mare.
Normally a horse who needs calming has a lack of magnesium and this is what the product re-balances. They can explain it better than me!
