Best insurance?

Can anyone tell me what the best dog insurance there is about and prices. Its for a 15 month whippet male, chipped and chopped !!! Wanting one with life cover i know there is some about that wont insure things that have gone wrong before ( if dog breaks leg they will pay once but not insure same leg) thanks

PETPLAN - expensive but excellent - used them for the 12 years that I had my dog.

I use Petplan too. They have been brilliant and have paid all my claims immediately (and there have been alot!). They also cover you for life for any condition where as lots of policies wont cover you for a condition on renewal or they refuse cover once your pet reaches a certain age.

I have Tesco - worth getting a quote - never had to make a claim though assume OK.

We used Direct line for malic. We had 4 claims ongoing at the same time and claimed over £6000. They never once queried anything and we got paid very quickly. We are going to use them again for Alfie

I use tesco.....for the dogs and the cat....made a claim on the cat and it went through easily!

I use petplan with my horse....so far not impressed!

I used argos of all people for my cats and they paid out straight away and tesco have been good for the dogs

Sainsbury's Pet Insurance - has had great reviews and won awards.

I have used Tesco in the past. They paid out on a claim very quickly, but don't think they cover a condition for life. Have jsut had a quote from the KC insurance for new puppy (you get 6 weeks free with registration). They wanted £26 per month

I don't think so - will be giving a few other companies a call.
