Best insurers???

I need to arrange some new cover. My pony is insured but not for LOU and to be fair the policy isn't that great (its not cheap either).

Would be great to see who recommends who and what you all think of the 'main' contenders.

Amtrust. They are brilliant, pay out quickly and are lovely to deal with.

Petplan equine - not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I'm with kbis. Very easy to deal with and when I joined them they and nfu seemed to be equally good on excess, what's covered and price.

I had to claim and it was ongoing, no questions were asked and one time the vet was late sending them the paper-work and they paid up before they had got it...I'm very happy with them

I'm with NFU. So is my friend. Her horse suffered from Laminitus and they paid out over 7 grand on her treatment. That's why I'm planning on sticking with them
