Best joint and hoof supplements

I use and highly recommend Suppleaze Gold for joints and Formula 4 Feet for hooves.

A noticeable difference from both of these though you do have to be patient with Formula 4 Feet to see the full benefit.

Equine America's Glucosamine 10,000 plus MSM contains 10,000 mg 99% pure glucosamine hydrochloride plus 1650 mg of MSM per 30 gram serving. It lasts for 60 days on maintenance and the loading dose is only for a few days. If you have used a joint supplement before then a loading dose isn't necessary. Its £14.99. Its excellent.

my horse's hoof supplement My hoof contains twice the amount of biotin as farriers formula, so my friend tells me

our farrier reccomended it.

i use flexadin for my boys joints and he has never moved better (he's 15) wouldn't use anything else now.

NAF pro feet has made such a difference to my boy. He used to loose shoes every week and we haven't lost one for over a year now!!

For feet I'd say Top Spec AntiLam or Top Spec Comprehensive balancer. I know they aren't a straight hoof supplement but they contain all the right ingredients at the right levels - I can honestly say my lad's feet have improved beyond belief on these products. I've tried a lot of good hoof supplements over the years with very little effect so I didn't hold out a lot of hope for these but I'm now a total convert.

The balancer is meant to include a joint supplement too but since I don't have a problem in that area I can't say how effective it is.

I use Riaflex Complete on my older boy which has kept him in competition. It contains some of the highest levels of compounds on the market. they also do a high spec hoof supplement which I use on my youngster. It is cheaper and comparable in spec to some of the better known ones. All produced by a therapist and loads of info on website.
