best kibble

OK, I will start thinking about packaging. And collecting the ingredients may be tricky. I found a nice dead baby rabbit this morning that wouild have been ideal but Ffee swallowed it whole.
Feeling nervous about introducing cold game to training...

I am thinking of inventing a dog food based mainly on poo (rabbit, deer, chicken) with blackberries, damsons and wheat making up the bulk. Maggoty dead carcasses could add different proteins to the mix. Would you buy it!?

Throw in some Layers Pellets and mole carcass and I'm in! (Cocker owner).

A few fresh tomatoes for health, mine loves helping herself to the ripest cherry tomatoes (that we were saving for lunch) from our tomato plants in the garden.

Having read this thread I’ve decided to start adding different kibbles in over the year instead of just sticking to one. Mine do have a varied diet including fresh hare/rabbit (road kill - happens frequently here), raw minces (human quality as not keen on the sloppy dog ones), raw bones, free range eggs (raw / sometimes scrambled), Butchers tripe, table leftovers etc but I’ve always tended to feed one kibble meal a day of the same variety.

I’m sure dogs, like ourselves, get bored of the same diet day after day.

I feed Skinner Hypoallergenic Duck and Rice. Have had Labradors for years who would eat anything but now have a Lab x Lurcher whose digestive system came from the Lurcher inside for sure....

Had terrible trouble with him as a puppy having loose stools, terribly flakey skin and being picky. Was recommended Skinners and spoke to their great nutritionist Jacqui who suggested their Hypoallergenic range. I started with the chicken but he went the other way and was then constipated so they suggested I tried the Duck. Hallelujah! He wolfs it down, has great poos which are easy to pick up and everyone comments on how fabulous his coat is :)

I know we all try and do what's best, but I think you have to cater to individual tastes and problems - a bit like humans!!
