Hi

As most of you know I came off a week last friday and my knee isn't quite right, It falls from under me if I get off a bit quick or stand up to quick, or get out of the car to quick, well anything i do do quick. So am looking at Knee Supports, What would be the best one for riding in? And any ideas on the sizing? I think I would wear it over the top of my jods and under jeans?

Thanks Only strepsils on offer im affraid! ;)

Just had a look at mine, and the logo is SafeTsport - my physio ordered it for me, it has a cut out over the knee, and wide velcro fastenings. I wear it over my jodhs, but under jeans. It does help, and although I thought it might feel too bulky and odd when riding it is ok.

Def the proline ones, they also do a hinged one which are really stable but they're more expensive and def more on the bulky side although i did manage to hack out in mine.....don't tell the consultant tho ;)
But seriously, if it's still giving way, then you need to see someone about it, poss doctor who should refer you to the physio
I put up with mine collapsing for over 10 years, just kept strapping it up and playing netball, not ideal I know, until everything gave way big time and then i spent two lots of 3 months over the next year on crutches, so if it's really, really bad, you need to get it looked at professionally
Mine is now brilliant, just need the other one sorting lol :D

Hey, im currently suffering from knee pain too iv tried that firstaid4sport support after reading this thread and it wasn't very good at all.... can the same thin be done through insoles or strengthening my knees with stretches instead?
