So here is something for you all to enjoy, warning don't be drinking tea whilst watching, as you my laugh a lot.

On Saturday I travelled to Wellington Riding for a XC lesson with Jon Evans, I saw it advertised through the British Riding Club website, and boy am I glad I travelled an hour and twenty minutes. It really was the BEST jumping lesson I've had.

I've only recently got back into jumping, the bang to my head in our accident kicked me up the arse to realise you really do only die once, so I'm giving everything a go!

So far on the few ODEs we've done I've had more time penalties XC than in our dressage test, I've been eliminated, but we've been clear. Since the accident it's taking time to get over the "out of control feel", I feel I have to set him up for every jump, so this lesson was what I believe to be a MASSIVE turning point for us both and I cannot wait for my next ODE on the 10th!!

Happy watching!!

well done, what a positive report i saw another lady there on saturday finishing up just as i was arriving for a riding club jump clinic and she had said she had a great lesson as well with this chap!

Ah Sam :) still can't believe there was only two of us there. third lady unfortunately had vehicle issues.

I travelled about 65 miles to get there, but it was so worth it!

JennBags, listen when you get home, it's very funny!! "Too Pretty" "No no no Trotting down slopes is forbidden!"

That was fab and made me chuckle! "Too Pretty" and I loved "Trotting down slopes is forbidden! On pain of death!!" Hahaha!!!

This is the kind of instructor I work well with, he pushed you but in such a positive and fun way! Looked amazing!!
