I have a new arena with sand topped with Flexiride and am trying to decide which leveller to buy. They recommend a chain harrow but the guy who's arena I had a look at before buying was using an Arenamate for synthetic surfaces. It had a roller on the back and I was wondering if this was better as it had tines to fluff up the surface but then roll it level. Others have suggested a metal gate until it has compacted enough to warrant harrowing.
At the moment I'm unable to ride on my arena as I've been told it needs 2" of rain/water to help compact the sand before the first use which we should get over the weekend.
Any ideas what is the best bit of kit for using on Flexiride?
