Hi all
Just wondered - most of my breeches seem to be fairly thick and I get rather warm schooling in them on a sunny day! Any suggestions of lighter weight/summer fabric ones to get?

I have just been looking for the same, I bought a pair of caldene cotton breeches with suede like knee patches, only £36.00 I did love the grey equitheme ones but they didn't fit as well,

I bought a mass load of Eileen Douglas breeches from their ebay store - nicely cut lightweight cotton breeches, very similar to Mark Todd ones, in a good range of colours. £15 each, so I have bought enough for the next 5 years ;)

Another vote for Kerrits tights. Also, plain running tights are good. I have a pair by more mile that I often use in summer and they were about £16 on ebay. No knee patches or anything but they have worn very well and are super comfy.

Another convert to Kerrits; not totally sure which ones I've got coz they seem to be called different things on different websites here and in the US. The ones I've got, they are the needlecord/pull on ones. Absolutely fantastic and well worth the money IMO. I was a bit of a cynic about them before but they really are Lovely!

Another rider who uses standard running tights.
Decathlon do some at around £10. They seem to last well and have no zips.
Advanced guy my choice is much more limited.
My other summer choice is a pair of shorts rugby shorts. These can be bareback or with a saddle as I seem to avoid pinching by having a still leg.
