Best make of stables ?

I am planning to replace my old stables in the near future & was wondering if anyone can recommend a company that would be able to design and supply my new yard? There are lots of companies that advertise in H&H but personal experience good or bad would be very welcome. Thank you :)
 
Warwick buildings. Mine have been up for 19 years now. Had to replace the roof after16 but stables still strong and sturdy. Next door have just had a garage put up by them and are pleased with quality of that too.
 
Ascot stables are pretty good (based in Sussex).
I have 1 block of 3 from their Windsor range that are still as sound as the day they went up in 1986, just 1 of the clear roof sheets has been replaced due to a tall lodger rearing in the stable & cracking it, quickly & easily replaced by Ascot stables.
Our 1st pair of stables were brought in 1979 from Eagle buildings - taken over around 4 years later by Ascot stables - hence why we went for same company for all the later wooden stables. These 2 from 1979 have been moved into a paddock as a double field shelter - and tho we had to replace 3 roof sheets due to aging cracks, its STILL going strong :)
My other block are 1996 vintage - 2 stables & haybarn (total of 40 x 12ft) & also good as new. Also have 2 field shelters from them too over the years.

Customer service excellent & could not fault them for returning calls etc (and no I dont work for them :D - I just think their stuff is of good workmanlike quality from their mid-range :)
 
My field shelter is Chart (who do stables) I paid a tad more for an overhang and I love them. The only thing that is a no no is due to our soggy wet weather and although they have been up about 8 years I would not have onduline roofing. It needs a lot of support and seems somewhat absorbant(it sags slightly in the British weather). But I am pleased its all boarded out and we did our own guttering etc. I have onduline on a chicken house and had to replace the lot(it needs lots of supports).
 
Not local to your area but I have been very happy with my Saltire stables mini barn and friends with portable stables/shelters have been too.

One point Saltire are the only peeps I know who make field shelters with a row of hit and miss boarding at the top of the back of the shelter which allows the force of the wind to be reduced and make it a lot less likely to blow over/away. Im saving up for one as nowt else will stay on our hill I bet! Wish other companies did this given weather conditions getting more unpredictable.
 
Lots of stable Companies what there so I'd say shop around and check you are being quoted like for like in terms of materials used.

Harlows are good and Warwick, really depends what you want and can they match your requirements.
