Merry moo is a bit of a fatty but will need a handful of something each day during the summer to have her magox and regumate. She will eat fast fibre in the winter but turns her nose up at it in the summer so i was thinking of trying a balancer as she seems to prefer nut style food. Just after suggestions of which one is the best for a good doer and the most economical? I will only be feeding a handful a day

Not a balancer, but I just use a handful of soaked cheapo farm store nuts to mix their extras in. They both get Pro Hoof or plain mag ox, and the mare has devils claw and her Prascend mixed in too. Seems to work well. I buy the low cal nuts to try and keep sugars down. Neither of them will touch Fast Fibre and they go off beet once Spring is here!
