Can anyone recommend me a nice padded racing style whip? As noisy as possible as I think with my horse the noise rather than the sting is what has the affect.

The racing bats off Treehouse are good- expensive, but high quality and make an amazing 'thwack' noise!

They're pro-cush ones. They're nice, I used to have one at work. Went missing with my skull cap whilst I was in hospital

I expect I should just go to Gibsons really shouldn't I? Lots of noise is definitely what I'm after. I smack my own boot more than my horse but it can be painful. I thought a nice padded one might be less severe on my poor ankles!

ETS: ThePony, I know a couple of lads who can make even a race whip smart when they whack you over the backside with it. Boys eh  (not in a kinky way, I used to work at a flat yard!)

owch, bit bloomin' expensive to go walk about - though you can at least get them with your name on now!

They must have really put their back into it to make one sting, I wanted to check it didn't hurt and so gave myself a decent belt, and nothing lol!

They did yep ;) thought it was hilarious. I regularly got sprayed with the hose in summer too! They were great days though :)

LS: glad I'm not the only one who lost theirs on a regular basis. Fortunately I don't need a named one so much these days as no skanky lads about to 'borrow' my kit anymore! Might pop to Gibsons one lunchtime and see what colours they have on the shelf. Any excuse to go in there. I've noticed they're doing some kickass cap covers now too. I can resist anything but temptation

I got a cheap one when I was down in devon. It makes an impressive noise so much so that a friend asked me if I had a stop at fenning as she heard it from the lorry :D.
