Hey everyone! This is my first official post I guess… Here goes!

I wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good oil or conditioner that darkens tack? I’ve just bought a new bridle in a gorgeous oak tone but I want it to darken to a milk chocolate sort of colour… Not quite as dark as Havana. If you could recommend some oils and/or conditioners I would be forever grateful. 🫶🏽

I don’t mind spending more if the product is good quality

Ask the maker. Agree neatsfoot proper oil, not compound (always avoid), is likely to be the darkest but I would only use one light application with approval of the maker otherwise any warranty may be void.

Coacholine well rubbed in but it might help if you can soak it in water to get the dye out of it that was used on it first. Might sound cack handed but it does work, done it many times. Soak in warm water for a couple of hours, then allow to dry naturally (no heat) One coat of something like Flexalan/neatsfoot/Hydraphane then work Coachaline into it well. C is good for your hands too as a bonus!
You'd think I'd be able to spell it correctly the amount of years I've been using it!
